Don’t Let Spring Sneak Up On You!
Keep those wheels moving and those flowers blooming throughout the spring when you join in our seasonal 5K series. Join the birds and the bees, the squirrels and the trees, and work off that winter layer! This low-key, high-yield trio of races gives you the chance to test your training, improve your times, and compete with yourself. Race in March and then focus on your 5K improvement. Train hard, do some speed work, try some hill repeats, or add some miles to your weekly load. Then come back in April and do it again. Your progress might surprise you! Race. Train. Repeat! Whether you are training for a PR or just looking for a great reason to set some goals for 2022, The PRC Spring 5K Race Series is your path to success!

Route Suggestions
We invite you all to come race in person on our 5K route in Beaverton. But if you are unable to come to Beaverton to race, we are encouraging all of you to find a great route and then run the same route each month so that you can track your progress. Whatever you choose, if you are going virtual, make sure that your tracking device clicks 3.11 miles!
Here is our awesome route in Beaverton. The race starts and finishes on SW Gemini right next to PRC. The first 1/2 mile is slightly uphill. As the route veers onto SW Nimbus, racers get a nice dose of downhill. The mile mark is right at the entrance to Fanno Creek Greenway Park. Racers make a very fast out-and-back mile and then return to the roads. There’s a short uphill at about 2.3 miles and then, with about 800m to go, enjoy a gradual downhill finish. This is the perfect PR course!
