Starlight Run 2026!
Are you ready to be part of Portland’s biggest blast of fun? Dive into the thrill of the Portland Rose Festival Starlight Run, presented by Windermere Real Estate, where you’ll dash through almost 3 exhilarating miles on the same route as the iconic CareOregon Starlight Parade! Portland’s most popular fun run, the Starlight Run is the wacky warm-up act for the CareOregon Starlight Parade. The race starts and finishes right at Portland Rose Festival CityFair!
Starlight 2026 Entry Fees:
- $25 Through February 28th
- $30 March 1st – March 30th
- $35 April 1st – April 30th
- $39 May 1st – June 5th
- $49 June 6th (Event Day)
- Students 18 & Under: $25
Commemorative Race Tee (not included with entry): $20

•10:00am-2:00pm: Packet Pick up at Portland Running Co.
4:00pm: Packet Pick-up Begins Tom McCall Waterfront Park
• 5:00pm: Costume Contest
• 5:30pm: Race Start
• 6:30pm: CareOregon Grand Floral and Starlight Parade Starts!

*Alaska Airlines Costume Contest! Wear your wackiest (and best) costumes to this year’s Starlight Run costume contest for a chance to win Alaska Airlines tickets! Celebrate your fitness and your “funness” at this year’s Starlight Run! Costume contest begins at 5:30pm at the fountain at Naito and Salmon.
*Refer your friends by sharing your referral link after registration! Have your friends sign up for Starlight and you will receive a $5.00 rebate for 3-4 referrals, or a $10.00 rebate for 5 or more referrals. Make Starlight Run 2025 a friends and family affair. An email will be sent when you reach a new rebate level, and you can check your progress at any time through My Events. Referral rebates will be refunded on May 30th, 2025.

Portland Rose Festival CITY FAIR! After the race, enjoy the festivites with the BEST parade in the world, the CareOregon Grand Floral & Starlight Parade, and with your race entry, you also get FREE ENTRY to Portland Rose Festival City Fair!
Starlight Run is a family-friendly and boisterous celebration of Portland. This event is for runners and walkers of all abilities! Due to insurance restrictions and the nature of the course, strollers are not allowed. We also kindly ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home.
